Divooka™ — general-purpose visual programming
Divooka is a 4th-generation visual programming system. You build a program as a graph of nodes you can position, inspect and execute — with real C# and Python underneath, so the same document scales from a five-node script to a shipped application.
Not another DSL
General-purpose from the start: file and text processing, 2D geometry, audio, images, procedural terrain and planets, SVG, in-memory SQL, simulation, 3D rendering, web services and desktop apps.
Real code underneath
C# and Python interoperation, NuGet imports and a compiled runtime. Drop into text exactly where a graph stops being the right shape for the problem — and no further.
Batteries included
Toolboxes for data analytics, image and audio work, plotting, system automation, API testing and GenAI services arrive installed — not assembled from a dozen packages first.
Runs on your machine
A standalone, self-contained distribution. No account is required to compute, and nothing leaves your computer unless a node you placed sends it there.
It ships real software
App Mode turns a graph into a usable interface. From the same document you can package a standalone executable, serve a web API, or publish an interactive notebook.
Extensible by design
Divooka™ Engine is a bring-your-own-nodes C# framework. Write a plugin, publish a package, or embed the engine inside your own product.
Installed, not assembled
Every toolbox above ships inside Divooka™ Explore. There is no package manager to learn before you can read a CSV, resample audio, raymarch a shader or stand up a web API — the nodes are already in the palette, and they are searchable from the canvas.
Reach past them whenever you want to: import a NuGet package, drop into C# or Python, or write a plugin against Divooka™ Engine and add a toolbox of your own.

How we work
A small studio building durable software
At Methodox™ Technologies, Inc. we build productivity software, led by our flagship visual programming system, Divooka™. The goal is to make powerful computing approachable, so that more people can solve their own problems with software instead of waiting for someone else to.
Methodox is a commercial venture — we need revenue to fund and realise the vision — but making the technology accessible to the general public has always been part of the plan. That is why the engine is free, the wiki is public, and the textbook is online.
Gamer, developer, analyst, writer and world builder. Computer Engineering, University of Toronto. Previously at Blackbird Interactive (a developer on Minecraft Legends), the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, and Baycrest Health Sciences — with a working knowledge of risk, investment, VFX, games and full-stack software. Now crafting a next-generation computing platform, without the hype.
Made by people
Real humans design and write our software. We use AI where it genuinely helps, expose it as a tool inside our products, and don’t pretend it is the product.
Local-first, self-contained
Our software installs and runs on your machine. Standalone distributions, no mandatory accounts, and no features held hostage to a subscription check.
Built to last
Battle-tested foundations — C#, Python, open standards — with documentation, a wiki, a textbook and release notes we actually keep current.
Software diversity matters
The world benefits from variety in software the way it does in food or design. Divooka offers a different style, and a genuinely different way to approach a programming problem.

Questions
The FAQ lives in the wiki
We keep every answer in one maintained place rather than letting copies drift apart. It covers what Divooka can do, how it compares to other tools, licensing, platforms and the AI question.
